How to Find Web Sites

When searching the web:

  1. Become familiar with one or two search engines. Read the "help" screens to learn the "tricks" of your favorite search engines.
  2. Use narrow and specific Keywords. (Need to identify some keywords for your search? Review to the search terms section of BOOST.)
  3. Be flexible. If a search doesn't give you relevant results, conduct a new search using different keywords.
  4. Use the "advanced search" option.

What is your favorite search engine?

What does the "advanced search" screen of your favorite search engine allow you to do that the regular search screen does not?
