Conducting a TITLE Search

  • To begin your search in BANC, access the Hutchins Library Home Page.

  • Click the Search button (as highlighted below) underneath "BANC."



  • If you are trying to locate a book, CD or DVD and you know the title of the item, type the title in the search box below Find This (1). Choose Title (2) from the "Find Results in" box. Click Search (3).

    Note: Be sure to omit any articles (a, an, the) appearing at the beginning of your title.



  • Your search will result in the Brief Record (shown below). Note the Call Number [1 below] and Location [2 below] of the item are provided in the record.
